idea behind the structure of how this website is made like this, i wanted it to feel like a sketch pad as if i had stuck everything and cut it out and lay it out onto my journal which it how i did most of my research by collecting a lot of data.
During the 1970s it was discovered by professional windsurfer Wolfgang Lange as having some of the best windsurfing conditions in the world. He along with his wife Rosie promoted Silver Sands through the international media as a windsurfing destination. This attracted 100s of windsurfing tourists to the area.
By1990s the biggest professional windsurfing world cups were being staged on Silver Sands Beach. This attracted even more windsurfing visitors to the area and increased the land value, more apartments were being built and people within the community were even renting rooms in their homes. Although the area was benefiting from the massive increase of sports tourism, there was an increase in strong drug use from some of the local people within the community and crime.
The influx of windsurfing tourists and the bending of the fishing community & local windsurfers create what we call Bajan (Barbadian) Beach Culture. This changed the dynamics of the area as sports tourism became more economically important than fishing. As hotels, apartments, villas, places to eat, night life, etc were catering to these visitors.
The 2000s there was a steady economic growth within the area. This growth expanded to a two mile radius of Silver Sands, extending to Long Beach, Reasue Beach, Freights & South Point, as the commercial aspect of these sports were being explored as surf schools, windsurfing & kiteboarding school s were spring up throughout the area. Also a new action water sport called kiteboarding was born which brought more action water visitors to the area.
The colors are the main focus as is controls are mood and how we feel in that environment, as well as the temperature
The 2008 recession had it’s repercussion to the area as one of the prominent hotels in Silver Sands stopped running. Also the crime was becoming more of a problem and internationally there were more windsurfing / destination destinations opening up.
Taking the Scenery and dividing the elements within the environment into different colors pallets and learning about the different colors. Taking time to study the colors of the environment as while as the changing colors from the timing the photo has been taken how that can change the environment.

Study and observing the changes of color.

Breaking down the colors in the different elements, the the dominant elements are the sea, trees, the sand and the sky.

futher below there will be three times of the day being looked at, i will be paying attention to how the colors change throughout the day as well as a color pallet of the time of days looking further into it you will see that the color pallet changes completely.
The color blue on the left top corner is the darker tones within the ocean and the right top color is the light hitting from the sun. Both of these colors create the center of the ocean which is visible to the eyes. The middle colors represent the colors in the deeper fat back ocean which is visible to the eyes. The timing of day causing the color pallet for the ocean to be a of navy blues, royal blues some sky blues, a diverse set of blues
creating a digital layout of sliver sands the progress of the photos along the way
digital drawings and pencil drawings. i had chosen to go in both direction as i what to first understand the layout of the structure of sliver sands but i also want to understand the color pallet by doing both techies i was able to do that.
from here, we can see three different times of day with different effects to them. below the website is shown by in detail photos of the beaches. i took three main pictures at different times. 8:40a.m, 5:46pm
